I offer math tutoring via email and my private message board (also known as distance tutoring, or online tutoring). This is a great option for college students looking for an online tutor, or high school students who don't necessarily need to sit down with a tutor for large chunks of time week in and week out. This can also be a good option for homeschooling students and those working in independent study situations. You may buy tutoring time in 1-hour ($30) or 30-minute ($15) increments through PayPal.

You do not need a PayPal account in order to use PayPal, as long as you have a credit card.

Before we begin working together (and before you send any payment), I will likely ask you to email me a sample or two of the types of questions you have, so that I can be sure that it looks like something I can help you with effectively.

Once you have purchased your time, we can work out whether you'd like to work via email or the message board. (I do not tutor via instant messaging in most cases.) The time it takes for me to read and reply to your questions will be deducted from your overall time purchased. I will let you know how much time remains each time I reply to you.
